Impeccable timing, I must say.
Everyone getting a turn at Wonder Woman
As reported by Newsarama:
then
Gail Simone, who also announced she was leaving Birds of Prey for recently signed to an exclusive, Sean McKeever.
Newsworthy because Wonder Woman was a relaunched title that was supposed to put her on the level of Superman and Batman, and instead, because of delays, made the title a laughingstock. It appears DC has wised up and decided to put things back on track for the Amazon princess.
Jim Lee Updates on All Star Batman & Robin
As posted at the Gelatometti blog:

Here’s what I know…issues 5 and 6 are DONE. I’m knee deep in issue 7. Rather than come out with 5 when it was done, the decision was made to hold up issues and stockpile them so when they do start coming out, that there won’t be any holdup between issues.
As far as WildCats–I can’t draw what I don’t have script for. Once I get that back on track, I will let you know. My enthusiasm for both titles remains sky high; last year was the toughest year for me personally but fortunately, things have lightened up this year allowing me to return to the drawing table.
Here’s some pages just so you know I’m not pulling your leg. I’ve blurred out parts of my pages so no one official gets bent out of shape showing work before it gets printed! I don’t have official release dates for the books but once I do, I will put em up as well. Just relax and know many issues will be coming out this year.
Oh and one last thing…it’s only the fact I have been getting work done that has allowed me to schedule the additional con appearances I posted recently. I turned down shows to Barcelona, Philadelphia and Chicago to focus on getting the work back on track.
Hope you guys dig the pages…
At this point, does anyone care? Don’t answer, this book is going to sell out anyway.
Terror Inc. Max Book by David Lapham and Patrick Zircher
In a Joe Friday article at Newsarama:
One of the topics of discussion was a Terror Inc. Max submission. They have nine images up if you scroll about halfway down. Yes, I’m way too lazy to fight with Wordpress and post 9 images right now. But! Holy balls this is fucking awesome looking.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for XBLA and PSN Announced
First reported by Joystiq
With 13 years of competitive play under its belt and counting, Super Street Fighter II Turbo is widely considered to be 2-D fighting perfected. A high octane, extremely offense-minded fighter, how is it that Capcom plans to improve upon perfection? By bringing in the comic masterminds at UDON to redraw the entire game, pixel-for-pixel.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (wow again) for Xbox Live Arcade and PSN mirrors the same tactic Capcom utilized with their Hyper Fighting release – the goods you remember, only with online play. This time, however, Capcom is taking care of business in-house and utilizing the insight that 13 years of worldwide, top-tier competition has brought to the game.
While SSF2T HD is a pixel-for-pixel recreation of the game, they aren’t ruling out making slight changes to the game. It will be lost on the average player, but when the faithful get a load of the slight but sexy frame tweaks, they’ll freak out. And they will love it.
Capcom didn’t have anything to show on the project, but they did say that the entirety of the game is being redrawn, from the character select, all the way through to backgrounds and endings. While it would be heaven in a download if they could also work in the original SSF2T, it is something they are currently considering. Capcom is aiming for a release this Fall.
Wait, so UDON can’t get a book out on any semblance of a regular schedule to save their lives, but they can do the graphic redesign of Super Turbo? This is a great idea, but their blatant disregard for their fans that support their books is astonishing. No wonder Erik Ko ran away from Shoryuken.com like a whiny bitch, I would too if I had to answer to this every day.
